Tommy and I bought an artificial tree the first year we were married. The kind that has the color at the end of the wire branch that goes into the pole (and a lot of the colors looked the same so we always had to re-do several of the branches). Tommy took the tree out of the attic this year and we looked at each other realizing the tree couldn't really even stand up well anymore (the tree has outlived 3 cats and 4 puppies). I didn't want to donate the tree, it was our first. Even though we have 4 other trees I tried to figure out a way to save this one. This is what I came up with. Greenery for the mantle.
